The place is amazing and I if I could I would rate it 1,000,000 out of 10 I would definitely come again. The only thing is most of the servers don’t wear masks but they give you the warning and asks out if it’s ok so I don’t care.

You simply cannot get fresher sushi anywhere around. Fair prices. Lovely staff. Our favorite place to eat in Wilmington. You have choices, but GENKI never disappoints. Some favorites: the egg drop soup is like no other...you will crave it. The firecracker roll (every time) and my brother gets the deluxe sashimi SO SO FRESH!

Everything is delicious here. Everything. I lived in Japan and Okinawa for some time and can attest to the authenticity of the cuisine. Great date restaurant, and take out is always ready and packaged securely...even the miso soup didn’t leak. I most definitely recommend Genki. Staff are so friendly and professional. I have nothing negative about this restaurant. Long time customer, too.

Awesome place! Found this place on a whim. The atmosphere is so comfortable and the people that work here are so friendly. You can tell they actually enjoy being here. The food was amazing! I had the firecracker roll! It was amazing. I can’t believe how authentic the food is. Will be back!

BEST SUSHI IN WILMINGTON. Not even up for debate - while the reasonable prices and exceptional quality keep me coming back, it's really the service that makes this place so special. Chef Danny and Lana are always so accommodating and have perfected their craft. Ask if they have the salmon or yellowtail kama available... you won't regret it.

Great service. High quality ingredients (like REAL crab & wasabi). They also have a gluten free menu that highlights all the items that are naturally gf or can be altered to accommodate. For a gluten intolerant sushi lover, this place was a dream come true. Very impressed and will definitely eat there again.

This place emanates positive energy. Sophia is beautiful, kind and very helpful. Danny clearly knows and cares about his customers. I literally feel uplifted in here. Very high vibration. The smells are intoxicating. The customers are clearly happy and enjoying themselves and most importantly, the sushi is delicious! 5 stars!

GENKI is the ABSOLUTE BEST sushi in all of North Carolina and possibly the USA! Chef Danny and his Wife and Daughter make EVERY experience in their restaurant a true pleasure and the food is SUPERB! They won the 2020 Trip Advisor reward for top 10% of sushi restaurants in the world for a reason!
